Background
The company is invested and constructed by Formosa Plastics Group, and it is one of the four projects in Zhangzhou City with an investment of one billion RMB each. The project covers an area of 1,328 acres and has a planned total investment of 2.2 billion US dollars. It aims to produce high-purity stainless steel hot-rolled coils and cold-rolled coils of the 400 and 300 series, and will be built into an internationally leading stainless steel production base.[1]
