Background on Mine

21 Incline mine was started in the year 1946 and mining operations were closed in 2021-22 due to exhaustion of coal reserves. EC was obtained for No. 21 Incline vide Lr. No. J-11015 /930/ 2007-IA. II(M), dated 27th October, 2008 for a capacity of 0.65 MTPA.[2]
