Aksu Xuzhou cogen power station (徐矿集团新疆阿克苏电厂) is an operating power station of at least 400-megawatts (MW) in Western Heavey Industry Park near 314 National Road, Aksu, Xinjiang, China. It is also known as 一期热电联产项目.

Background
The two existing coal-fired units of Aksu Xuzhou power station, totaling 400 MW, were brought online in 2011. The plant is owned by Xuzhou Mining Group.[1][2]
Description of Expansion
Xuzhou Mining Group was planning to build two additional coal-fired units at this plant, with a total capacity of 1,320 MW, by 2014-2015.[3]
It became known as the Xinjiang Kuche Ehuobulake Pithead power station.
