Amal-Ra's Lanuf Oil Pipeline خط آنابيب آمال - رأس لانوف , is an operating oil pipeline, running from Amal oilfield in the Sirte basin, central Libya, to Ra's Lanuf terminal 23km from Sidra terminal, Libya.

Location

The pipeline runs from Amal oilfield in Al Wahat district, to Ra's Lanuf terminal on the Gulf of Sidra, 650km from Tripoli, Libya.

Background

The Amal-Ra's Lanuf oil pipeline is two parallel pipelines, 30 inches and 36 inches. The capacity of each is 13,195,771 and 23,752,387, respectively. The Harouge Oil Operations, which operates the pipeline, is a joint venture of the state-owned Libyan National Oil Corporation(NOC) (88%)& SUNCOR Energy (12%).
