Background

The Anan'iv-Tiraspol-Izmail Gas Pipeline is a main pipeline in Ukraine's southern corridor, and is part of the main gas transmission system of Ukraine. It enters Moldova through the Hrebenyky gas metering station. After re-entering to Ukraine, it exits to Romania through the Orlivka gas metering and pumping station. It is 257 km and has capacity of 23.7 billion cubic meters (840 billion cubic feet) per year.

The net book value of the pipeline is US$41 million. It has a diameter of 1200 millimeters, 3 associated compressor stations, and a working pressure of 5.5 MPa.
