The Coastal Gujarat Power Limited (CGPL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Power. CGPL is currently building the Mundra Ultra Mega Power Project, also sometimes referred to as the 'Tata Ultra Mega power project, a 4000 megawatt (MW) power station. By the end of 2012 three of the five 800MW units had been commissioned. The power station is located south of Tunda Wand village in Mundra Taluka, Kutch district of Gujarat, India.[1][2]; [3]; [4]
