GM Pontiac Power Plant was a coal-fired power station owned and operated by General Motors in Pontiac, Michigan. Apparently, the name 'GM Pontiac Power Plant' was an internal name used by the parties to this enterprise in the development phase. It is registered with the FERC and the State of Michigan in 2005 under the name 'DTE Pontiac North, LLC'. This facility was shutdown in 2009 (details below).

Operational Affiliation
Brought on-line in 1987 GM Pontiac Power was apparently owned by GM but registered with the FERC as DTE Energy Pontiac North, LLC[1]. It was shutdown in 2009 as the associate assembly activity was phased out[2][3] Although owned by GM and operated closely with DTE each entity lists a different address for the plant. DTE Pontiac North, LLC is at 824 St Clair St, Pontiac, MI. The two addresses represent the same physical location.
