Background

In July 2024, Golar and Pan American Energy announced that they had signed a 20-year agreement to develop an FLNG export terminal in Argentina utilizing Golar's Hilli FLNG, with a capacity of 2.45 mtpa and a 2027 start-up date.[1] Exact location and other details of the project remained unspecified.
