Hohhot power station (华能北方联合电力呼和浩特热电厂) is an operating power station of at least 1100-megawatts (MW) in Huimin, Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, China with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating. It is also known as 丰泰热电 (Phase II Unit 3, Phase II Unit 4), Hohhot Fengtai power station (Phase I Unit 5, Phase I Unit 6, Phase II Unit 3, Phase II Unit 4), 华能北方联合电力科林热电二期 (Phase II Unit 3, Phase II Unit 4), 华能北方联合电力呼和浩特热电厂(科林二期) (Phase I Unit 5, Phase I Unit 6), Hohhot Fengtai power station丰泰热电 (Phase II Unit 1, Phase II Unit 2), Hohhot-2.

Background
The plant is owned by China Huaneng. Hohhot power station is a four-unit coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 1,100 MW in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The six units of Hohhot-1, totaling 174 MW, have been retired. Hohhot-2 Units 1 & 2, totaling 400 MW, were completed in 2000.[1][2] Hohhot-2 Units 3 & 4, totaling 700 MW, were completed in 2011.[3][4]
