The Indominco Mandiri coal mine is an opencast mine, operated by PT Indominco Mandiri, a subsidiary of Indo Tambangraya Megah, with a capacity of 12.44 million tonnes-per-annum (MTPA) in Bontang, Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan, Indonesia.[7] As of 2016, PT Indominco Mandiri, a subsidiary of Indo Tambangraya Megah, operates the coal mine. The mine has seen a decline in production from 15.1 million tonnes per annum in 2016.[8]
