Background
On its website in 2011 VISA Power states that it "has signed an MoU with the Government of Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh for setting up integrated power plants". Under this, the company states, the "allotment of water is under process" and it will use domestic coal."[1]
As of August 2015 the project has not received environmental permits and appears to be abandoned.
