Kaifeng power station (国电投开封发电厂) is an operating power station of at least 1260-megawatts (MW) in Tubaigang, Shunhe, Kaifeng, Henan, China with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating. It is also known as 国家电投开封光明发电厂 (Phase I Unit 1, Phase I Unit 2), 国家电投开封发电厂 (Phase II Unit 1, Phase II Unit 2), 开封京源发电公司 (Phase II Unit 1, Phase II Unit 2), 国家电投开封京华发电厂 (Phase I Unit 3, Phase I Unit 4), 国家电投开封新力发电厂 (Phase I Xinli Unit 5).

Kaifeng-2
Kaifeng-2 power station is a two-unit coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 1,260 MW. The plant was completed between 2008 and 2009, and was originally owned by CPIC.[1]
Ownership
In July 2015, China Power Investment Corporation (CPI) and State Nuclear Power Technology Corporation (SNPTC) merged to become State Power Investment Corporation (国家电力投资集团), one of the five largest state-owned electricity producers in the People's Republic of China.[2]
