Background

The Nekkovy Coal Mine (Некковый разрез) is an operating surface coal mine in Primorsky Krai, Russia. The Nekkovy coal mine is a surface coal mine owned and operated by Primorskugol LLC, a subsidiary of Siberian Coal Energy Company (SUEK).

It has a capacity 0.5 million tonnes per year and opened in December 2017. It is not clear how much the mine has been producing.

The mine was not mentioned as one of the operating mines as of January 2023 in a government document and not mentioned in the list of operating assets of Primorskugol in a media source from December 2023. Likewise it was not mentioned in any news reports in the recent years. As of April 2025, it appeared that the mine is not operational.
