Along with Lunskoye Oil and Gas Field (Russia), Piltun Astokhskoye is a part of the Sakhalin-2 Oil and Gas Project (Russia). Piltun Astokhskoye Oil Field is also sometimes referred to as Piltun-Astokhskoe.
