Muara Satui Barge Port is an anchorage point in the Java Sea, off the southern coast of Kalimantan, Indonesia, where coal from Arutmin's Satui coal mine is transloaded from barges onto oceangoing ships. There are several coal-processing and barge-loading facilities located along the southern coast of Kalimantan, including near the mouth of the Satui river. The anchorage also handles nickel ore and iron ore.[1][2]
The anchorage is capable of processing up to 10 million tonnes of coal per year.[3]
