Background

The Tambang Batubara Harum (TBH) coal mine is now known as Arkara Prathama Energi (APE) mine, is an operating open-pit mine., was established in 1997. In 2022, most of the Company’s shares of TBH were transferred to PT Arkara Wira Sanjaya, which therefore the Company no longer has control over TBH. As of the end of 2023, APE continues TBH’s footprint and started commercial mining activities at the end of 2022.
