Background
The Asmin Bara Bronang (ABB) coal mine is an open-pit mine, operated by PT Tuah Turangga Agung, a subsidiary of United Tractors Tbk and PT Pamapersada Nusantara, in Kapuas Hulu, Kapuas, Central Kalimantan, Indonesia.[8][9] The Asmin Bara Bronang's 24,890 hectare mining site is located in Kapuas and Murung Raya Regency, Central Kalimantan, and consists of 3 mining blocks: Mamput, Bekanon and Merangun.[10] Turangga Resources, a subsidiary of United Tractors Tbk and PT Pamapersada Nusantara, operates the mine.
