Background
In 2021, ACC Limited proposed the construction of a standalone cement grinding unit with cement production capacity of 3 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) at Salai Banwa, Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh, India.[1] The plant is expected to get commissioned by FY26 end.[2] As of January 2025, 50% civil work has been completed.[3]
