ACWA LNG Terminal was a proposed liquefied natural gas (LNG) import terminal in Bangladesh. The project was proposed to supply LNG to ACWA LNG power station.[1] As of 2024, there have been no development updates in over four years, and the terminal is presumed to be cancelled.

Background
In October 2019, ACWA Power signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Bangladesh Power Development Board for an LNG terminal and LNG-fired power plant in Bangladesh (ACWA LNG power station). The project is expected to cost USD $500 million.[1]
As of June 2024, there have been no updates in over four years, and the project is presumed to be cancelled.
