AES Chhattisgarh Energy

From Global Energy Monitor

The AES Chhattisgarh Energy is a wholly owned subsidiary of AES, the US headquartered power utility. The company is proposing to build the 1440 megawatt (MW) Khamhar power station in Chhattisgarh, India. A 2007 news report stated that the project was "expected to be commissioned by 2011-12."[1] However, a November 2011 AES profile on its current and projected generation assets does not mention the project.[2]
