AES India

From Global Energy Monitor

The AES India is proposing to build the Jagdishpur power station, a 2640 megawatt (MW) coal-fired power station in the state of Bihar, India. The first 1320MW stage of the project is scheduled to be commissioned in 2016 with power to be sold to the Bihar State Electricity Board.[1] However, a November 2011 AES profile on its current and projected generation assets does not mention the project.[2]
