Background

Mälarenergi currently operates two biomass-fired CHP (combined heat and power) units at location of the former coal-fired power plant in Västmanland, Västmanland County, Sweden.[11]. Block 6 began operating in 2014[12], and Block 7 followed in 2019.[13]
