Avazin power station (Авазинская государственная электростанция, Авазинская ГЭС) is an operating power station of at least 254-megawatts (MW) in Awaza, Balkan, Turkmenistan. It is also known as Avaza power station, Awaza State Power Plant, Avazinskaya power station.

Background
In May 2022, it was reported in the media that the power station would switch to a combined cycle operation mode.[11] As of March 2024, there have not been any updates about the transition.
