The Balangon coal mine is an opencast mine, operated by PT Balangon Coal Companies, a subsidiary of the Adaro Group, with a capacity of 4.7 million tonnes-per-annum (MTPA) in South Kalimantan, Indonesia.[1]

Background

As of 2020, PT Balangon Coal Companies, a subsidiary of the Adaro Group, operates the coal mine. The separate mine pits include Semesta Centramas (SCM), PT Laskar Semesta Alam (LSA) and PT Paramitha Cipta Sarana (PCS).
