Background
Enerjisa has applied for a license for the Bandırma III power station, a proposed 810 MW plant that would use imported coal.[1]
Later Enerjisa said the company will not invest in any more new coal projects. As of 2017 the project's EIA has been cancelled and the proposal does not appear on Turkey's EMRA new license/permit lists. The project appears to be abandoned.[2]
