Background
The power station's Terms of Reference from the India Ministry of Environment and Forests stated that an environmental clearance for the project would be granted "only after firm fuel and water linkages are obtained."[1] In 2014, the project was not listed on the Abhijeet Group website and appeared to have been abandoned.[2]
