Background

The project was listed in Shandong Province's medium and long-term oil and natural gas development plan (2016–2030). The first phase was proposed in 2018.[1]

As of March 2022 the last reported news was that the pipeline owners were obtaining permitting/approval documents for eventual construction. Since four years had passed since development on the pipeline was reported, it is presumed to be cancelled.
