The LNG hub is expected to harness to substantial natural gas resources off the coast near the Mauritanian-Senegalese border.[2] The location below is a loose approximated based on the location of Block C8 off the Mauritanian coast.[3]

Background

The LNG hub has been mentioned in reporting as a likely area of concentration, along with Yakaar-Terenga LNG Hub, once BP finished the Greater Tortue Ahmeyim FLNG Terminal project.
