Background
According to Upstream, Final Investment Decision "a final investment decision on a field development is possible in 2025 or 2026." The outlet also cites Repsol as previously stating estimated recoverable oil resource of 200 million barrels.[8]
In 2019, Shell and Equinor announced the "significant" deepwater discovery.[9] Shell divested from the project in 2023[10], and as of 2023 Repsol and LLOG owner 50% of the project each.[11]
