CIC Energy is a small private sector energy company aiming to develop a number of coal-fired power stations and coal-based projects in Botswana. The company, which has been listed on the Toronto and Botswana Stock Exchanges since 2006, states that it "has a strong treasury of approximately CDN$34 million".[1]
Coal projects
Projects that CIC have floated include the:
- Mmamabula Energy Project;
- Mookane Domestic Power Project;
- and export coal project based on the Mmamabula Coal Field;[2]
- a Coal-to-Hydrocarbons Project based on the Central and Eastern Blocks at the Mmamabula Coal Field.[3]
