Background
CNOOC Putian Gas power station (中海福建燃气发电公司莆田燃气电厂) consists of two phases. [12]
The first phase was approved by the National Development and Reform Commission on December 20, 2005. Construction began on June 9, 2007, and it was fully operational on July 6, 2010. The second phase project was announced in June 2020, but there is no further information available on the progress of the project at this time.
