Background

CPI Dunhua Cogen power station was proposed as 2 x 70 MW coal units in Dunhua, sponsored by State Power Investment Corporation.[1]

The plant appeared on a January 2020 list by Jilin Province of planned co-generation plants for the 13th Five Year Plan (2016-2020).[2]

However, it did not appear in the 14th Five Year Plan and was presumed shelved in 2022.
