The Calvert Data Center is an operating, 125 MW cryptocurrency mining operation located near Calvert City, Kentucky, USA. It is owned and operated by Core Scientific, and is one of the largest cryptocurrency mining operations in the US.

Background

The Calvert Data Center was constructed in 2019 at the former Gerdau Steel Rolling Mill, which closed in 2016.[1] It has an installed mining capacity of 125 MW.[2]
