This category lists gigawatt scale coal-fired power plants in Turkey which have been announced or are pre-permit or permitted but are not yet under construction, and which seem to be ongoing in that they have been mentioned in the press or publications in the past couple of years. It is not meant to be used for statistics as it is may not be complete and is somewhat subjective but is meant to be used as a link to easily check out current coal power plant developments.
