Chaldovar power station (ТЭС "Чалдовар" (Russian)) is an announced power station in Chaldybar, Chüy, Kyrgyzstan. It is also known as Chaldovar TPP.

Background

The Ministries of Energy of Kyrgyzstan and Russia signed a memorandum of cooperation on the Chaldovar thermal power plant construction project in March 2024.[2] In September 2024, it was reported that Kyrgyzstan was planning to expedite efforts toward the construction of the Chaldovar power plant.[3] As of November 2024, there have not been any further updates.
