Project-level captive use details
Background
The power station is the main producer of electricity and the sole supplier of steam for the technological needs of the plant. The power station was built in 1943 to supply the Chelyabinsk metallurgical plant with electricity.[6]
At present, as before, the main task of the Thermal Power Plant is the supply of all energy resources to the production facilities of the Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant.[6]
