Chongqing Changshou power station (重庆华电长寿燃机热电项目) is a power station in Chongqing, Changshou District, Economic Development Zone, China with multiple units of varying statuses, none of which are currently operating. Background
In December 2021, China Energy Construction Anhui Institute (CECAI) successfully secured the bid for the pre-construction consulting service general contract for Phase I of the Chongqing Huadian Changshou 2x700 MW Gas Turbine Combined Cycle Cogeneration Project.[4]
This project is located in the Changshou Economic and Technological Development Zone in Chongqing and is planned to include the construction of four 700 MW gas-steam combined-cycle cogeneration units, with the initial phase involving the construction of 2 units.
In August 2022, the Chongqing Development and Reform Commission and Chongqing Energy Bureau issued a notice regarding the implementation plan for energy planning tasks in the "14th Five-Year Plan," which aims to advance the project.[5]
