Background
The following was published in May 2022 (Google translate): "Polaris Power Network was informed that the Three Gorges Water Conservancy announced on the evening of May 8 that recently, its wholly-owned subsidiary, Chongqing Changdian United Energy Co., Ltd., invested and constructed a thermal power project in Jiulong Park, Wanzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, Chongqing City (3×500t/h pulverized coal boiler +2×80MW back pressure unit). Three boilers and two generator sets have been completed and put into operation. It is reported that this project is the first comprehensive energy high-quality demonstration project successfully completed and put into operation in Wanzhou District, Chongqing City."[1]
The original EIA said the power station involved 1*80MW + 2*80MW, but only two units appear to be operating and documented.[2]
