Background
- Chuzhou Natural Gas Peaking power station Project, which underwent public notice and approval in November 2021, is the first natural gas peak regulation power plant project in Anhui Province to be assigned a project code. The project is located in the Shiliang Town Industrial Park of Tianchang City, Chuzhou, with an investment of approximately 2.37 billion RMB. The construction scale includes two 450MW-class 9F gas-steam combined cycle units, with the main source of gas supply being the Suzhong-Anhui Gas Pipeline associated with the Jiangsu Binhai LNG receiving terminal.[6]
- On May 29, 2022, the project officially commenced construction.[7]
- It was reported that Unit #1 successfully received factory power supply in July 2023, marking the official entry of the project into the sub-system commissioning and testing phase, with the goal of putting this unit into operation by the end of 2023.[8]
