Background
The facility is located within the Skyway Plaza, a shopping center in southern Plattsburg, on the western shores of Lake Champlain.[1][2] The operation is very small compared to Coinmint's other mining facility, the Massena Complex in Messena, New York, which has 435 MW of transformer capacity.[3] The city of Plattsburg enacted a moratorium on cryptocurrency mining, which has since expired.
