Background

Dengfeng-2 power station is a four-unit coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 1,900 MW in Henan Province. The first two units, totaling 640 MW, were completed in 2004. Units 3 & 4, totaling 1,260 MW, were completed in 2011-12. The plant is owned by China Resources (75%) and Dengfeng Power Plant Group (25%).[1][2]
