Background

The project was included on a 2010 Ministry of Environment and Forests list of proposed coal-based power projects on the Konkan coast of Maharashtra. However, the project has not applied for an environmental permit and is not mentioned in the draft Red Herring Prospectus of Ind-Barath Power.
