Background
The project was included on a 2010 Ministry of Environment and Forests list of proposed coal-based power projects on the Konkan coast of Maharashtra.[1] However, the project has not applied for an environmental permit and is not mentioned in the draft Red Herring Prospectus of Ind-Barath Power.[2]
