Background
In 2021, German owned-RWE applied for a permit to build a 920 MW power station in Rotem, Belgium.[4] However, the Flemish environment minister rejected the proposal in September, 2021, stating that the project was "larger and more polluting" than was initially approved. Lecho reports that more than 1200 protests were received during the public inquiry.[5]
RWE no longer lists this as part of their projects in development.
