Background
This pipeline is presumed to have replaced Dongying–Linyi Oil Pipeline, though there is no clear evidence online for the former iteration.
The rerouting project was proposed in March 2020 and obtained the project's soil and water conservation administrative permit on September 26, 2023.[2]
