Dongying Huatai Chemical power station (华泰化工集团自备电厂) is an operating power station of at least 150-megawatts (MW) in Bohai Road Cross Jingyi Road, Dongying District, Dongying, Shandong, China with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating. It is also known as 东营协发化工有限公司, 东营华泰热力有限责任公司.

Background

The Dongying Huatai Chemical power station was setup as a captive power plant to support the facilities of the Dongying Huatai Chemical Group in Shandong. Unfortunately, very little public information about the plant appeared to be available.

The province issued a notice about 2022 retirements in January 2023 generally. One unit appeared to retire at the site in 2022.
