Drummond Coal-to-Liquids Plant

Drummond Coal Company has proposed a coal-to-liquids plant in southern central Illinois. The facility would involve an investment of over $3.6 billion dollars and would be capable of producing 48,000 barrels of fuels per day.[1]
As of April 2011, a search of the Drummond website and of the web shows no evidence that this project continues to be pursued.
