East Texas Gas Pipeline is an operating natural gas pipeline.

Location

The East Texas Gas Pipeline is an intrastate pipeline connecting points in East and North Central Texas. It provides access to the Katy Hub. The pipeline's expansions will connect the Reed compressor station in Freestone County to the Grimes County compressor station. The Katy expansion will connect Grimes to the Katy Hub, and the Southeast Bossier pipeline to the Cleburne pipeline, and the Carthage pipeline to the HPL System.

Background

The East Texas pipeline is owned and operated by Energy Transfer Partners. The pipeline serves producers in East and North Central Texas and provides access to the Katy Hub. The East Texas pipeline's expansions include the 36-inch East Texas extension to connect the Reed compressor station in Freestone County to the Grimes County compressor station, the 36-inch Katy expansion connecting Grimes to the Katy Hub, and the 42-inch Southeast Bossier pipeline connecting the Cleburne pipeline to the Carthage pipeline to the HPL System.
