Background
Çukurova Demtaş Enerji Üretim has proposed a 600 MW coal plant in Yumurtalık. It is under environmental review.[1][2]
As of 2017, the project's EIA has been cancelled by Turkey's Ministry of Environment and Urbanization.[3] As of May 2020 there has been no further news about this plant and it appears to be cancelled.
