Background

The pipeline was to be operated by IEnova, a subsidiary of Sempra Energy.[2] Starting in 2014, various media outlets and government reports announced the project.[1][3][4][6][7] However, as of 2020 IEnova no longer showed the project on its map of Mexican energy assets[8], and in the absence of further news, the pipeline appears to have been cancelled.
