Background

Onose Tbea Energy broke ground on the power plant in April 2018.[4][5] Construction is expected to take 28 months. Onose TBEA Energy has partners from China, America, and Turkey on the project.[6][7]

As of May 2021 there has not been any news on the project since the 2018 groundbreaking ceremony and it is assumed to be shelved.
